The Justice Arts Coalition

The Justice Arts Coalition (JAC) is a non-profit organization that unites institutions and individuals that believe in the power of the arts to ignite change by supporting artists in and around the justice system.

Since 2008, JAC, formerly called the Prison Arts Coalition, has been uniting teaching artists, arts advocates, incarcerated artists and their loved ones in an effort to increase opportunities for creative expression within the US criminal legal system.

In addition to serving as an online network and archive for resources, JAC hosts in-person trainings, workshops and conferences.
