Justice Now

Justice Now is a California based non-profit social justice organization providing legal advocacy and other types of supportive services to incarcerated women. Justice Now envisions a world without prisons and seeks to dismantle the prison industrial complex, believing that the current system damages those incarcerated as well as their communities.

The majority of the staff employed by Justice Now are formerly incarcerated individuals who bring their powerful life experiences to their work, ensuring that those directly impacted by the criminal justice system play a central role in helping to change it.

Listen to this podcast of a recorded phone conversation with Justice Now’s Interim Executive Director Sabine Crochette and other staff members to find out more about the organization and the experiences of the people who work there.
